The corona pandemic has presented many companies with new challenges. The first lockdown caused massive delays in the delivery of critical components and thus shut down our production.

In every crisis, there are new opportunities.

Our product developers have managed to find a solution for delivering the components to our German production facility. It could go further.

We were in the final production phase when we learned that a factory in Japan had burned down and was to supply an essential component for the circuit board.

Nobody was injured in the fire of Asahi Kasei Microsystems (AKM) on Kyushu. The fire is still causing ongoing supply problems, affecting many other companies in the audio and entertainment industry.

The number of weekly coffee beans doubled by early November.

After some discussions and many long meetings, we decided to rethink the technology from scratch. We needed new, technical expertise, had to invest money and above all time. Some improvements we could achieve by redesigning the circuit board. In the end, the missing component is no longer needed for the production of a Feelbelt.
